2.0.7 is a small update that fixes some regressions of the 2.0.x branch of VLC.

Updates

•  fix track selection for PowerPC machines.
• also fix an important regression in decoding numerous audio file formats and when encoding in MP3 and AAC.
• closes a couple of security issues and fixes regression in our ActiveX plugin for Internet Explorer.

VLC 1.2 volume delay

VideoLAN in 29 of December announcement the new beta version of new VLC 1.2
The error of this version is the volume. When you change the volume in vlc it is not instant as the previous version of vlc. It takes about 1 second for the volume to change.
To solve the problem is to change the output module.
To do this you must go to Tools->Preferences->Audio
And in the list of Output module you select: Win32 waveOUT extension output if you’re using Windows Operating system
or
PORTAUDIO audio output if you're using MAC X OS

Instructions
step 1:click on "click here" and download the file
Step 2:extract the .rar file
step 3:right click on the youtube.lua file and click cut
step 4:go to \VLC\lua\playlist and right click paste the file
step 5:press yes to replace the file

Error VLC 1.1.11 stream

The new VLC 1.1.11 cannot stream YouTube or any other type of video. You get error in transferring to FTP Server with crash display box
To solve the problem you must download the new updated YouTube script(Click here) because the one in VLC 1.1.11 doesn’t work and replace the old YouTube.lua that is in \VLC\lua\playlist
